A 52 year old Ludlow man was arrested without incident after a more than 4 hour standoff with police.
Police say they went to Ray Street for a report that an angry man was destroying property.
That’s when James Vasquez told police that he was armed and then held police at bay from inside of his home for hours. He was finally arrested.
He did have a gun.
Police are still trying to figure out what led to the outburst.
