Governor Charlie Baker is not offering a timeline for unvaccinated state employees to be suspended or fired.
The deadline for state workers to submit proof of vaccination or seek an exemption has now passed.
Baker says the current goal is to reach out to the 16 hundred state workers who have not complied with the mandate and find out their reasoning.
Baker says suspensions will begin once they have worked through the process.
