The Springfield Thunderbirds will require masks for games this weekend.
But starting in November, no masks will be required.
The announcement is in response to the announcement of the mask mandate by the city this week.
Meantime, the team announced that for the rest of the season there will be a discounted 5 dollar parking rate at the Civic Center Garage.
The Thunderbirds are home Saturday and Sunday against Scranton and Charlotte.
