Red Sox Broadcaster Jerry Remy Passes Away at 68

The beloved long time analyst for the Boston Red Sox has died of cancer at the age of 68.

Jerry Remy was in the broadcast booth for decades.

Before joining the Boston Red Sox as a player- her was a second baseman with the California Angels.

Remy had been quite open about his cancer. He was a four time cancer survivor.

Remy, who is a member of the Red Sox Hall of Fame made his last public appearance when he threw out the first pitch during the Red Sox Yankees Wild Card Playoff game.

Funeral arrangements have not been released yet.
