In Springfield, a big crackdown on aggressive driving.
In was a brutal week for Springfield Police investigating four separate fatal accidents that happened within four days.
Most attributed to either distracted driving or speeding.
One arrest has been made in one of the cases.
The rest are still being investigated.
Springfield Police now cracking down.
This past weekend alone they issued 100 citations for speeding -distracted driving and other offenses.
They say they will keep the pressure on to insure that all of the streets are as safe as they can be.
In addition, Massachusetts State Police say they will be conducting a Sobriety Check Point somewhere in Hampden County this weekend. They never say specifically where or when.
