Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce president Nancy Creed is planning to step down.
Creed, who started the job in 2016, said she is leaving to tend to her elderly mother.
She said she will stay on until a replacement is found or no later than next April.
Creed said she is incredibly proud of the progress the chamber has made, and that she was grateful for the opportunity.
Creed has been instrumental in moving the Chamber into new avenues in a new and changing environment.
