The Massachusetts Teachers Association is not happy with the state's effort to get coronavirus tests to around 200 thousand teachers and staff. The union says the state is engaged in a last minute scramble, saying it jeopardizes the return to the classroom after the holiday break. The arrival of the tests for school staff in Massachusetts has been delayed. Governor Charlie Baker expects them to be distributed over the weekend.
The Union is also telling the Governor that with coronavirus cases continuing to spike in the state that the restart of the school year should be delayed. The Governor so far as rejected that idea--adding that there is also no plan for remote learning.
