A legendary former high school hockey coach in Rhode Island has died.
Bill Belisle won 32 state championships for Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket and saw 20 players advance to the NHL.
Among the NHL players who played for Coach Belisle were; Bryan Berard, Brian Boucher. Keith Carney, Brian Lawton, Mathieu Schneider and Garth Snow.
Belisle, who retired in 2019, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 92.
