Additional staffing is being provided at the regional coronavirus testing site in Springfield.
American Medical Response worked with the state and the Springfield mayor's office to bring in the additional staffing to increase testing capacity at the Eastfield Mall.
Cars had to be turned away from the mall because of long lines after the holidays.
Meantime, lines at other Covid testing sites are shorter.
The city continues to send out more and more At Home Kits and will continue to do so next week, further reducing the need for "on-site" testing.
