A Chicopee man is under arrest for a deadly shooting.
The Hampden District Attorney's Office says a gunshot victim identified as John Martin of Chicopee was found inside a home on Arcade Street on Saturday.
An armed man on the scene was convinced to surrender.
Nicholas Moriarty, also from Chicopee, was arraigned for murder in district court on Tuesday.
He will return to court for a pre-trial conference next month.
