State Senator Eric Lesser says legislation passed by the Senate last week addresses the high costs of prescription drugs.
The Longmeadow Democrat says too often, patients cannot access the medications they need due to high prices.
He says no one in Massachusetts should have to choose between life-saving medications and breaking the bank.
The bill now goes to the House for further consideration.
