The Springfield Rescue Mission is getting ready for Easter in 11 days. Before the pandemic began, the facility was pretty famous for its sit-down dinners throughout the city for anyone who would need them.
But with Covid, things are a little bit different. Officials say they will be doing Easter Meals To Go Easter Sunday between 1pm and 3pm.
Officials say all donations will be welcome. They are in need of pork and potatoes, butter, eggs and milk among other things.
In addition, gift cards are needed along with Easter Baskets for kids.
Anyone who can help is either to drop off donations to the facility at 10 Mill Street between 8am and 6pm
