A good save for Greenfield Police over the weekend. Officials say they found a bear cub on Route 2 Friday night.
Its mom and two other cubs were found dead after being hit by a car.
When Police arrived they heard some type of squealing and finally found the surviving cub clinging to a tree.
Officials say the two officers who responded were able to recover the frightened cub where it was brought to a kennel.
The cub was brought to Tufts Veterinary Center for further care.
The cub this weekend scared but will make it.
