The Mask Mandate: Judge Says No, Travelers Split

Public transit agencies across the region are making decisions after a judge on Monday struck down a federal mask-wearing mandate for passengers.

And they are for the most part in between a rock and a hard place.

The TSA has responded by dropping its mask requirement on airplanes.

Passengers at TF Green International Airport were about as split as most people at Logan in Boston and Bradley in Hartford.

The Biden Administration says that it is considering an appeal.

Officials at the airports and at Union Station in Springfield say they are awaiting federal guidance on the issue.
