Celebrity chef Mario Batali has been found not guilty by a Boston judge of indecent assault of a woman.
The judge yesterday delivered the not guilty verdict in the second day of the non jury bench trial, saying the complaining witness had credibility issues.
The judge also says the prosecution failed to meet the burden of proof in its case against the 61-year-old Batali.
He was charged in 2019 in connection with the alleged incident at a Boston restaurant where a woman accused Batali of groping and kissing her.
Batali has not commented to reporters about the verdict.
