The National Weather Service says strong-to-severe thunderstorms are possible in Southern New England Tuesday afternoon and evening.
There is a possibility that the storms will be accompanied by strong winds and medium to large hail.
Most of Western Massachusetts, as well as northwestern Connecticut, are in the area of greatest concern.
The forecast calls for potential damaging winds and isolated instances of large hail.
The latest timing sees storms rolling through the region from between 3pm and 10 tonight.
