One More Big Hit For Big Papi

David Ortiz helped the Boston Red Sox end "The Curse".

Now, he's a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Big Papi was enshrined in Cooperstown on Sunday.

"This is such an incredible day, incredible honor," said Ortiz.

But he said he couldn't do it by himself. He said that family believed in him and so did teammates and fans.

Ortiz hit an extra-innings home run with the Red Sox facing elimination in the 2004 American League Championship Series versus the Yankees.

He pounded five-hundred-41 major-league home runs for the Sox and the Minnesota Twins.
