There will be a general election race for congress in Western Mass.
Dean Martilli, a consultant and self-described "fiscal conservative" has announced his run for the House seat that Congressman Richard Neal has.
Martilli, who was the Chief of Staff for former Congressman Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island.
Martilli says he will first to seek to strengthen the border and safety on all city streets.
In addition, he wants the country to have its own independent energy system in place.
