The San Diego, California home of Springfield native Dr. Seuss, Theodor Geisel, is on the market.
Listed at about 19-million dollars, the five-thousand-square-foot coastline estate features hidden rooms, a bow-tie swimming pool, spectacular views, and much more.
The home was donated to the University of California in 2018 following the death of Geisel's second wife.
It is now being sold in a blind auction on August 17th.
Geisel first purchased the property in 1948, and lived there until his death in 1991.
It's where he wrote most of his books.
