A man who had been riding a bicycle in Springfield died yesterday at Baystate Medical Center from injuries suffered in an accident.
Police say he was hit by a car at the intersection of Chestnut and Congress streets around eight o'clock Saturday night.
The driver remained at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
