A home health aide from Springfield is facing state charges.
According to the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Rodette Robinson was indicted by a Hampden County grand jury for assault and battery on an elder by a caretaker.
The family of a 91-year-old Alzheimer's patient in Wilbraham reported the alleged physical abuse incident, which was apparently caught on the family's home video surveillance system, to Robinson's employer last November.
A spokesman for the A-G could not say when Robinson would be arraigned.
