The National Weather Service has predicted Western Massachusetts will receive one-to-two inches of snow on Tuesday.
The snow is expected to arrive this evening.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for western Hampden and Hampshire counties and all of Berkshire and Franklin counties until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Meantime, most of the Department of Public Works Departments say they will be ready to salt and sand as need be. Everyone has pointed to increasing prices for those items along with everything else.
State and Local Police have also warned that historically the first snows bring with it slippery roads and the need for drivers to pay attention. Use caution tomorrow no matter where you are.
