The Northampton Police Department says a bear got stuck in a tree in the downtown area Sunday.
The bear climbed a tree on Gothic Street at around 11:30 a.m.
The Massachusetts Environmental Police used a tranquilizer dart, and the animal was relocated to an undisclosed location.
