The city of East Providence is adding a license plate camera system.
The cameras are used by law enforcement to help make arrests.
An example from this past weekend was in Cranston, when three people were taken into custody for an alleged Molotov cocktail attack.
The license plate cameras are also used in Providence and Warwick.
