The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is penalizing MGM Springfield for allowing underage access to its gaming floor.
This happened between June and December of 2022.
The gaming commission fined MGM 45-thousand dollars, but they noted that the casino cooperated by self-reporting most of the incidents and taking steps to prevent future problems.
The minimum age for casino gambling in Massachusetts is 21.
