No injuries were reported after a jewelry store owner chased down a robber at the Holyoke Mall.
The incident happened last Friday.
The owner of Furnari Jewelers, Joe Furnari, says the suspect ran off with a 16-thousand-dollar gold chain.
He said he chased him through the mall, and the robber discarded the item.
No arrests have been made so far.
The Holyoke Police Department is investigating.
