Massachusetts is awarding 141-million-dollars as part of the state's Student Loan Repayment Program.
About three-thousand primary care and behavioral health providers will receive assistance to pay their student loans.
Those eligible include doctors, nurses, mental health and substance abuse recovery counselors.
In return for the help, recipients agree to spend two years working in under-served communities statewide.
