The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is directing funding to study the issue of drunk-driving related to MGM Springfield.
A previous study that was sanctioned by the gaming commission last year found an increase of OUI-related crashes on highways near the commonwealth's three casinos.
The Springfield Department of Health and Human Services has until June 30th, 2024 to submit its findings.
