Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren traveled to Ukraine and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.
Warren was joined by Connecticut Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal and South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on yesterday's covert trip.
The group laid a wreath in St. Michael Square to honor the celebration of Ukraine's independence from the former Soviet Union.
Warren says the visit was important to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their survival.
