Belchertown state police trooper Matthew McRae was discharged from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown on Saturday.
McRae was critically injured in an alleged drunk-driving crash in Salt Lake City, Utah which happened in August.
The officer has regained the ability to walk despite suffering a spinal injury and a broken neck.
