It’s Christmas in some stores- why not in Springfield too?
Officials at Bright Nights say tickets for the 29th edition of Bright Nights at Forest Park are on sale, beginning today at Brightnights.org.
The tickets will be valid for a car full of holiday revelers for the three-mile tour of the seven hundred thousand lights.
Revelers will also be able to grab a snack and a souvenir. Tickets are 23 dollars.
There are discounted tickets available for special dates as well.
And word from Big Y is that they will begin offering tickets as of November 9th as well. Bright Nights at Forest Park will be open from Wednesday, November 22, 2023, through Monday, January 1, 2024, and closed Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
The lights will be lit nightly at 5pm, and glow through 9pm Sunday through Thursday, and 10pm Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays that include Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
More than seven million people have been through the lighting extravaganza since 1995.
