A Springfield teenager who was shot at a gas station earlier this month has died of his wounds.
Police say the 16-year-old had reportedly jumped into the driver's seat of an unattended vehicle at the station on Locust Street.
He was then shot by the suspect, 35-year-old Trevor Neverson, who drove off.
Neverson pleaded not guilty to charges connected to the shooting.
He is due in court on Tuesday; additional charges have not been filed in his case.
