Hampshire Regional Teachers Want New Contract

Hampshire Regional educators rallied Monday night as negotiations continue for a new contract.

Teachers were joined by supporters outside Hampshire Regional High School before the school committee met.

Educators are seeking benefits that include fair cost of living adjustments and paid parental leave in a new agreement.

They add these are needed incentives to attract and retain good educators.

Teachers have been working without a contract for more than four months.
