State Legislature To Take Aim On Ghost Guns

A nonprofit is praising a gun control bill filed in the Massachusetts Senate.

The group "Stop Handgun Violence" said the proposed legislation is a step forward in making communities safer from the rising epidemic of gun violence.

The bill would crack down on so-called ghost guns, which are untraceable, and prohibit carrying guns inside government buildings.

The full Senate is expected to consider the measure starting Thursday.
