A former New England Patriots player is accused of driving under the influence in North Providence, Rhode Island.
Malcolm Butler was allegedly found by police blocking a lane with his car.
Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on March 16th after refusing to take a field sobriety test.
His attorney says there are constitutional issues that will have to be addressed.
Butler you will recall is the Super Bowl hero that intercepted a pass at the goal line when Seattle was seeking the go ahead score in the 2014 classic.
Butler is due in court on the DUI charge Thursday.
