Springfield’s news apartment building is open downtown.
The so-called 31 Elm Street project officially opened its doors.
The almost 60-million-dollar project provides 59 new market rate apartments as well as 15 so called “workforce” units which are geared to lower incomes.
While in Springfield, Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities Ed Augustus was at Springfield Technical Community College for the second of 14 listening sessions into the Healey Administrations Housing creation programs.
