Celtics - Mavs Ready For Game One Tonight In Boston

The NBA Finals are finally here.

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics will host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in Game One on tonight at TD Garden.

The Celtics advanced after sweeping the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

They are aiming for the 18th championship in team history, which would set an NBA record.

Boston big man Kristaps Porzingis plans to play in Game One after being sidelined with a calf strain since the first round.

The Mavericks clinched their first spot in the Finals since 2011 with a five-game series win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.

The Mavs have won one championship in their team history back in 2011.

Dallas head coach Jason Kidd was a player on that title-winning team.

The Celtics were 2-and-0 against the Mavs during the regular season.
