There's a heat advisory today in parts of western Massachusetts including eastern Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties for highs in the mid 90s and oppressive humidity creating feel like temperatures of about 100 degrees.
There's a chance for very scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening.
The high heat, humidity and storm threat will continue through Wednesday.
Thursday we could see some slight relief when temps only make it to the mid 80s.
