The U.S. is adding another gold medal in track and field at the Paris Olympics.
Gabby Thomas, who was born in Atlanta but grew up in Northampton, dominated the women's 200-meter race, finishing first with a time of 21-point-83 seconds.
That gave Team USA its fifth gold medal in track and field, with no other country having more than two.
Thomas' Team USA teammate Brittany Brown won bronze in the event with a time of 22-point-oh-eight seconds.
St. Lucia's Julien Alfred took silver.
