NH Challenging MA Gun Law

New Hampshire is challenging a Massachusetts gun law after two Granite State residents were charged with felony gun possession while traveling through the state.

New Hampshire allows people to own and carry a gun without a license while Massachusetts has more restrictive laws including a licensing requirement.

The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office has filed a brief with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

It argues the potential punishment for crossing state lines violates the Second Amendment with overly restrictive regulations.
