Free PVTA bus rides are over.
The transit authority has reinstated bus fares due to the end of a program funded by the state.
The state covered bus rides over the summer to celebrate PVTA's 50 years of service.
The fare reinstatement is not related to the PVTA employee dispute resolved this past weekend.
