State Drops Triple E Risk Level Across State

The risk of infection from Eastern Equine Encephalitis is no longer considered high anywhere in Massachusetts.

The state Department of Public Health said areas previously at high or critical risk are now at a moderate level.

However, health official stress there is still some threat until the first hard frost so people should take precautions to avoid mosquito bites.

So far this season there have been four human cases of Tripe E in the Commonwealth.
