Federal Monies Go To Removing Lead Pipes For Cities

Massachusetts is getting more than 53 million dollars in an effort to address contaminants and PFAS in drinking water.

The Governor says that the money is part of supplemental spending from the EPA which also released new regulations requiring cities and towns to replace lead water pipes throughout its infrastructure.

It is unclear how much of that money is coming to western Massachusetts.
