Western Mass is ready for the first of three storms that will hit us in less than a week.
Crews were out pre-salting roads to keep them from freezing over.
The latest from the Weather Center is that most of the snow will be out of here by about 5 tonight.
We could see somewhere between 2 and 4 inches of snow.
But that will be the least of it.
Two more rounds of snow are being forecast.
The next event will be Saturday night into Sunday.
Then a third bit of winter when we could see measurable snow Wednesday.
As for today- most schools have called off classes rather than have to try to navigate slippery roads.
Many communities have parking bans in effect.
