Boston Splits With Toronto On Ice and On The Court

The Boston Pro Sports teams split with Toronto last night.

The Celtics extended their winning streak to six games after topping the Toronto Raptors 111-101 at Scotiabank Arena.

Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 24 points for the C's.

Jayson Tatum recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists.

Payton Pritchard chipped in with 20 points off the bench.

Boston is now leading the Atlantic Division at 42-and-16 and will visit the Detroit Pistons tonight at Little Caesars Arena.

While the Celtics were winning, the Bruins had a tough time with the Maple Leafs.

The Bruins' losing streak is up to four games after falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in overtime at TD Garden.

David Pastrnak opened the scoring just 29 seconds into the game with the first of his two goals on the night.

Brad Marchand and Morgan Geekie each scored on the power play.

Jeremy Swayman turned away 24 of the 29 shots he faced between the pipes.

Boston is now tied for fifth in the Atlantic Division with 62 points at 27-24-and-8, and will host the New York Islanders tomorrow night.

The Celtics are right back into action tonight with a game in Detroit.
