Wu: Trump Policies Making Big Cities Less Safe And People Afraid

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said Boston is the safest major city in the nation.

Appearing on Capitol Hill before the House Committee on Oversight and Governmental Reform, she said she is proud to testify on behalf of the city's immigration policies.

She criticized the Trump administration's policy saying it's making hardworking, tax-paying, God-fearing residents afraid to live their lives.

They mayor also told lawmakers that if they really wanted to make the country safer, they would pass real reforms in both immigration laws and gun laws.
