A brief police pursuit ended with a crash in Bourne on Saturday night.
Officers tried to stop a driver on Head of the Bay Road for having a cancelled license plate that belonged to a different vehicle, but the suspect fled.
Police arrested 65-year-old Robert Diaz about a half-mile away after he crashed into a tree.
Diaz was not injured in the crash, and he faces numerous charges including failure to stop for police and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
