A Barnstable County Sheriff's cadet is on unpaid administrative leave as she faces charges related to an off-duty stabbing.
Twenty-six-year-old provisional employee, Tatiana Jacobs has pleaded not guilty to a charge of armed assault to murder in the Sunday incident and she will be back in court on Friday for a dangerousness hearing.
According to the preliminary investigation, State Police found the 33-year-old victim with stab wounds on Route 6 near the Route 124 exit, and he was taken to a Boston area hospital by MedFlight.
There has been no update on the victim's condition.
