A man is in custody after authorities say he was caught doing whippets in his vehicle.
Springfield police said officers initiated a traffic stop after seeing 24-year-old Bernamaxin Lebron-Sierra commit a lane violation last Friday, then saw him inhaling an inflated balloon after he pulled into a gas station.
Officers reportedly found containers of nitrous oxide in his vehicle along with crack cocaine and a loaded ghost gun.
Lebron-Sierra faces several charges.
