New details are being shared regarding last week's deadly Union Street crash in Springfield
Police had approached the vehicle as it was idling on Ridgewood Place before the driver sped off Tuesday night.
Officers found the wrecked vehicle about a quarter-mile away shortly afterwards.
Four people, all believed by police to have been the passengers, were killed in the wreck, and the remaining occupant is still in critical condition.
If that is the driver, charges could be filed for vehicular homicide.
